Role overview
Responsibilities
Design and develop REST/GraphQL APIs for core product flows.
Build auth, user/session management, and role-based access control.
Implement data models, caching, background jobs, and event-driven workflows.
Ensure API reliability: rate-limits, retries, idempotency, monitoring, alerting.
Collaborate with mobile and AI teams for clean contracts and versioning
Requirements
Strong backend experience (Node.js / Python / Go—any is fine if you’re solid).
Experience with PostgreSQL (preferred) and database design.
Good understanding of distributed systems basics and API security fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with logging, metrics, tracing, and debugging production issues.
Experience of 3 years to 6 years.
Nice to have
Experience with message queues, Redis, WebSockets, search (Elastic/OpenSearch).
Experience with AI-adjacent backends (RAG pipelines, vector DB integrations).
