Role overview
You will own key parts of the mobile app experience: performance, reliability, and polish. You’ll work closely with product, design, backend, and AI teams to ship fast without breaking user trust.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain mobile features (Android/iOS) with production-grade quality.
Implement voice capture UX, offline/online sync, background tasks, and push notifications.
Integrate APIs cleanly and handle edge cases (timeouts, retries, partial failures).
Improve app performance: launch time, memory, battery, scrolling, crash rate.
Write tests, participate in code reviews, and improve engineering standards.
Monitor production issues and ship fixes quickly.
Requirements
Strong experience building and shipping mobile apps in production.
Proficiency in Android (Kotlin) and/or iOS (Swift). (React Native is a plus.)
Solid understanding of app architecture (MVVM/Clean Architecture), networking, storage.
Experience with analytics, crash reporting, feature flags, and CI/CD for mobile builds.
Good product sense and ability to collaborate with designers and PMs.
Experience of 3 years to 6 years.
Nice to have
React Native experience, audio processing/recording, background services.
Experience with App Store / Play Store releases, ASO basics, and experiment rollouts.
