Remi8 AI Recorder Warranty Terms

1. Warranty Coverage

Remi8 warrants that the AI Voice Recorder device shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal usage conditions from the original date of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable and applies exclusively to the original purchaser.

Covered under warranty:

  • Manufacturing defects in hardware components

  • Defects in the microphone (silicon and bone-conduction)

  • Display or button malfunctions not caused by misuse

  • Magnetic interface or charging contact defects

  • Bluetooth connectivity issues attributable to hardware failure

2. Exclusions from Warranty

The following conditions are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage. Remi8 reserves the right to reject any claim upon inspection if any of the below are identified:

  • Physical damage including cracks, dents, or breaks

  • Water or liquid damage

  • Unauthorized modifications

  • Use of non-original accessories

  • Damage resulting from improper charging

  • Loss or theft

  • Cosmetic wear and surface scratches

  • Force majeure events or accidents

Important Notice:

If a returned device is opened for inspection or replacement and internal physical damage is identified, including broken internal components, bent connectors, or signs of internal impact, such damage shall not be eligible for warranty coverage, irrespective of the original claim. Warranty service may be declined or limited accordingly.

3. Battery Warranty

The built-in 400 mAh lithium polymer battery is subject to specific conditions, as battery capacity naturally degrades over time with normal usage.

Within the first 2 weeks:

  • If the battery fails to hold a charge, charges abnormally, or the device does not power on, a unit-to-unit replacement shall be provided at no cost

After 2 weeks:

  • Gradual reduction in battery performance, including reduced standby time or recording duration, is considered normal wear and is not covered under warranty

Charging Cycle Notice:

  • Lithium polymer batteries have a limited number of charge cycles

  • Each full charge and discharge cycle contributes to battery wear

  • Reduction in battery capacity over time is an industry-standard characteristic and not considered a manufacturing defect

  • To maintain battery health:

    • Avoid fully draining the battery before recharging

    • Avoid exposure to heat during charging

4. Warranty Claim Process

To initiate a warranty claim, customers must contact Remi8 through the official support channel and provide necessary documentation.

  3. Submit a detailed description of the issue
